13) Lord of the Rings
14) Snow Crash
15) His Majesty's Dragon
16) The Count of Monte Christo
Jonathan Stroud

1. Queezle - Her name doesn't come from anywhere, I don't think. I just made it up! It was kind of meant to make her sound nice. I feel a bit sorry that I killed her off so fast; she is an interesting character.

Falling in love is not at all the most stupid thing that people do — but gravitation cannot be held responsible for it.

Can't you number them Apollo? It would be much easier to know when we have reached 100 and it would be simpler to put them in order too.

17) Ender's Game
18) Brave New World
19) Shakespeare's Julius Caesar

I strongly back the third choice.

I hope this isn't supposed to be an actually list; if so, our list is broken. Brisngr is definitely not better than 1984.
I agree. I wouldnt put Birsingr as numero uno. But I just think we're listing 100 books, then putting them in order.
What is straight? A line can be straight, or a street, but the human heart, oh, no, it's curved like a road through mountains. ~Tennessee Williams, A Streetcar Named Desire, 1947

Will short stories do? Then all of Shakespeare must be included.
I will be very dissapointed if he is anywhere near the top 100, I hate virtualy everything he has ever written.

just throw The Beach - Alex garland into the mix aswell
Mindi Jackson , I think I'm in love. Now I just need to get famous.

How can you even hate Julius Caesar? That one is a masterpiece! I had even memorized all the speeches and stuff.

Where's my Cow? -Terry Pratchett
Dune -Frank Herbert (Just started reading, but from what I've read and heard I think it should go here)
The Hobbit -Tolkien (self explanatory)
House of the Scorpion -Nancy Farmer
Sea of Trolls -Nancy Farmer (Really liked both)
Shade's Children -Garth Nix
His Dark Materials -Phillip Pullman
Predators Gold -Phillip Reeve
To Kill a Mockingbird -Harper Lee
The Colour Purple -Romeo and Juliet
Darkwater Hall -Catherine Fisher (Not sure why, just like the book)
Old Kingdom Trilogy -Garth Nix
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass -Lewis Carol
Cat's Cradle -Kurt Vonnegut
Shades of Grey -Jasper Fforde :P

If stories written in poem form (although not necessarily ballads) -The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and Dante's Inferno.
If Plays count, Romeo and Juliet.
I've probably put too much thought into this :mouth:

Yay!

While I like Vonnegut, I wasn't that big of a fan of Cat's Cradle.
