Guess i'll start with my story: I was in the middle of reading Golem's Eye and wondering if a movie of AoS might happen. I googled around and ended up in the the Amulet movie thread. I continued coming back and lurking over the next few days before finally joining. The rest is history.

I had finished PG and wanted some answers as to what happened to Bart and Kitty later on etc. So I googled and landed up in JS's website. There, it was written that he had answered questions pertaining to the book in this forum. So I came here. The rest, as they say, is history=p. BTW, Bartiforums is the first forum I ever joined. Didn't know how they worked before. |

Found it back in about 2006 actually. Was wandering around the internet looking at book stuff, found this place. Lurked occasionally for the next couple of years (which makes me sound like a stalker; it was only once every 6 months or so). Seemed pretty cool, and less strict than most forums I came across, so I joined a few weeks after finally getting an email address (long story). I've joined one or two other forums, but never posted much. |

Well, I'd just finished PG and decided to google for a forum about the Barti Trilogy. I did actually find one. No idea the name or URL now, but it had 1 member and seemed dead. So, I decided to create one myself. And that's what I did. The forum only got the name "Bartiforums", when Senty and I were deciding on a domain name in December '05, that was a couple of months after the forum was created in October. |

Apparently not. Nat is member #5 and Senty #6. That means there were a few people who joined before them, who probably didn't validate their accounts. One user was banned and subsequently deleted. |
