 Bartiforums is 4 years old today, October 25 at 3:07pm, GMT.

I've attached some screenshots of the forum over the past 4 years, so check them out. Unfortunately there's nothing from before June 06.

 How long it would last wasn't something I ever really thought about. It runs for as long as it can sorta thing. But if you'd tied me down and made me guesstimate... then no, I probably wouldn't have said this long. It's a pretty impressive degree of staying power given we've had nothing but vague rumours and a very recent low-key announcement of a new book since the forum was launched.

Also, isn't a bit odd to have descriptions for forums you already know about?
Out of pure curiosity, how do you "torture" these spambots when they are torturing you?

You have to pass an awesomeness test to become an admin.


The descriptions are there, as you so astutely pointed out, for our own amusement. The staff forum went through a phase of being a gigantic Battlestar Galactica reference fairly recently, too.


You don't want to know. Trust me. It would shatter your mind.

1. Queezle - Her name doesn't come from anywhere, I don't think. I just made it up! It was kind of meant to make her sound nice. I feel a bit sorry that I killed her off so fast; she is an interesting character.
