This is for all the books, bear in mind the child acotrs would grow up Nat - As much as I loathe him I think Robert Patterson could Ptolmeys Gate well, to old for the other two books though Voice of Barti- Rowan Atkinson or Colin Farrel (No two actors do sarcasm better IMO) Kitty- ??? voice of Faquarl- Sean Bean Lovlace- Hugh Lawrie Deveraux- Matthew Newton Jane Farrar- Keira Knightly or Emma Watson Makepeace- Matt Lucas (has a history of serious acting so he would be suiteable) Duvall- Daniel Craig Whitwell- Dame Judy Dench (pictured whitwell as dench the moment I read a bout her) These are just some ideas other characters would be good talk about to Edited by Asmoral_The_Resolute, May 30 2009, 10:39 AM.

The voice of Nouda is clearly BRIAN BLESSED. That is all. |

Yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes. Also, BRIAN BLESSED would be a perfect Nouda, Sent =D Though I do think Stephen Fry would be a decent Makepeace (and Stephen Fry with BRIAN BLESSED's voice would be incredibly awesome). Edited by Captain Internets, May 30 2009, 01:19 PM.

Most of those aren't too bad actually. But I doubt Daniel Craig could fit the werewolf Duvall. Hugh Laurie as Lovelace for me is not the best choice. Kitty probably would indeed be an unknown actor casted. |

I agree there actually; Fry would be an awesome Makepeace. |

I'd prefer a thinner Christian Bale as Lovelace, but I can see Hugh Laurie playing it very well, likewise with Daniel Craig. Nice list. As much as I like Judy Dench, she's a little old for me for Whitewell. |

Steve Coogan would work nicely ![]() For some reason, I want a section of the imp playing a Gilbert Godfried voice. Some cameo to something else... "What do I look like, some talking parrot?" -referring to Aladdin- I like him, so something like that. |

NO.
I think this one can work. Never really thought much into who I'd like to see in the movie, but I've always imagined Farqual as sounding like this guy. |

I actually think a movie would defeat the funnyness of everything. Most of the very best parts are the thoughts of Bartimaeus, and trying to include that would be... um... difficult. |
