Meyer was clearly reading fanfic. It had a lot of its cliches in there; the prenancy, the powerafterpowervampiresue!bella, Jacob having a strange imprint (It should have been Mike, dammit :P), the volturi, and the one-big-super-happy-ending. :yes:

Though I jokingly came up with the most twisted theories possible...and most of them came true.

Apparently, a lot of fans are upset. I thought it was hilarious.
