Mite Posts: 2 Group: Members Member #4,944 Joined: February 19, 2008	I was looking forward to Bartimaeus' revenge for Simpkin after their encounter in the first book but unfortunately it never happened. I was just wondering what people thought Barty would have done to him? Killed him straight out or something else? Also I wondered whether people felt sorry for Simpkin when he died or whether he deserved it. I think he deserved it he was too infected with magicianness (which isn't a word but i dont care)

He was so different from the other foilots, and he kept getting teased for it. anyway, i'd just chop his body into little pieces and then eat him quickly. Except I wouldn't eat him, cause i can't imagine myself as a demon eating another demon. (in fact, the very thought grosses me out.)

Simpkin afterall is a willing slave. Barty would make him clean public toilets, wash his underwear & do other gross things.
	Jonathan Stroud 1. Queezle - Her name doesn't come from anywhere, I don't think. I just made it up! It was kind of meant to make her sound nice. I feel a bit sorry that I killed her off so fast; she is an interesting character. Falling in love is not at all the most stupid thing that people do — but gravitation cannot be held responsible for it.

Mightbe. If Simpkin can work willingly for a human, then why not for a djiini? He remains a slave eitherways & lesser demons have worked under higher ones for centuries. Anyway, willing or unwilling, Bart might just force him to do those things.
