Why is Inheritance getting so much stick off you people? Is it because it is (supposedly) like Star Wars?

I'll probably end up going to the library if I ever read it. Which, despite my threats, I will. Probably. I just want to know what happens cause I started the series...do you know what I mean?

I know exactly what you mean, Ianna. I get the same thing.

Inheritance gets so much stick from us because it's awful.

It is. And Eldest was awful, not to mention Arya is a complete and horrid Mary-Sue, and Eragon is tangled up in one of the worst written romances I've ever read.

How is it like Star Wars though? One has lasers and lightsabers, the other has dragons and magic and stuff.
(I've never seen Star Wars, you'll have to put it in morons' terms for me)

The setting is different, the plotlines basically the same. This link lists some of the more obvious cliches it uses.
On another note, GO WATCH STAR WARS! (Only the original three films.)

Usually even then the article is horribly written and thus very confusing.
