Taken From Shurtgal
Random House added the video announcement from Christopher Paolini himself just a short while ago. In the video, shot at Christopher's writing desk in his home in Montana, Christopher discusses how the series evolved from a trilogy to a cycle (four books), his progress with the book, and even gives us a hint at what will come in Book 3, saying that a major character will die at the end of the book.

Uh Oh, Please not another one!

We can always hope he decides to kill off more major characters and realises he's run out...

Personally, I think he's trying to make sure that Eragon is the last man standing.
Don't know why, I just think Chris is doing that. *humph* probably got the massacre idea from some other book, which he's trying to rip off.
Sooner or later, some ideas from this trilogy will find their way into the Inheritance cycle...

I know what he is trying to do, have the trilogy become five books and then it will the "trilogy in five parts" :P

No Way! Paolini is channeling Adams? COuld Be. I'll have to check his brain ports bordering onto the spiritual plain.

I don't hate it either. The story line is good, but hey, it's completely unoriginal! Copied from Dragon Rider & where not! That's why v don't love it. But still, it's good & I'm waiting eagerly for the third book (cause I want to know if it has a demon in it, which obviously has to be summoned in a pentacle by a magician named ERAGON!) Just jokin, sorry.
