For some reason, people think that Bartimaeus lies about his achievements like how he killed six djinn in one blow and his titles. And that he isn't as powerful as thought to be. Or, they think his power decreases as he gets OLDER. What the heck. I just want you're opinion on this, and maybe your approval. The worst thing about Barty is that, maybe he brags a little. Which spirit doesn't? |

I think the part about him killing those djinni was true. But then again, he couldn't have been powerful enough to knock down mountains since he's only a middle ranking djinni. I'd say, it's partly truth and partly exaggeration |

Yeah; he wouldn't lie to Ptolemy. What about Tchue? How did Bart survive him without running? Not that I doubt that he survived him... |

Mountains ae just rock. Lot's of it. I wouldn't judge a being's power just by how we human rank them, isn't that defeating the point then? Hmm... I think he did all of the things he's said, even the mountain (remember he was younger then), but I think it was harder to do those thing's than what he makes them out to be. Anyone agree or think I"m a rambling idiot? |

I think that he braggs more as he gets older. He is starting to realise that mayby he isnt as powerful as he once was and braggs about his past achivments to make up for what he does now. |

Odd how people always thinks that Bartimaeus always runs. He's just clever on when to run and when to stand and fight. |
