Oh, and I can't believe I just noticed the actual purpose of this thread... If Bart is forced to fight instead of being able to run away like a sissy, Farqy would win, hands down. Edit: And I think I just accidentally voted for Bart on the poll. Ack. Second Edit:

Faquarl by a very close margin. Knowing how smart him and Barti are, they'd both probly double team Jabor and then try to double cross each other and have an epic battle. Eventually, Faquarl's superior strength will probably win him the match. |

I still like to think Barti would cleverly figure out a way to kill Faquarl... But yes, common sense would say Faquar wins... waahh

Yes, Farquarl would probably win.
Though Barty might if he gat Jabor to fight him, then annoy Jabor so much so that he fires off an uber huge detonation right at Barty, which Barty dodges so that it hits Farquarl, who was trying to stab Barty in the back, and kills him. Then Barty's still fresh and just has to dispach a weakened Jabor. Which he does, very quickly by turning into something really heavy and squishing him into the iron floor. Highly unlikely, but really fun to think up. |

well faquarl is the mightiest one, but i think it depends. for example, if faquarl and jabor were 3 years on earth, and barti comes fresh summoned, and if they don't fight in the kitchen.. who knows? |

But we're thinking of them fighting in a iron cube, none of them can escape, and the last one standing gets out. Plus, I think it would be when they're all fresh. |

Unlike all you non believers (shuuuuuuun!), I reckon Barti has a good chance of winning. His superb cunning and initiative (and luck) has enabled him to beat Afrits, so don't write him off. Of course, like I said before, the fight has many different possibilities and would be different every time you played it out. |

I am shunned.
But that is when Barty has loads of things to distrtact his opponent with, now he just has a lage iron cube, no method of escape, and two powerful opponents. Though he could still pull it off if he tried hard enough.

most of us vote for barti out of loyalty, but i think that faquarl and barti would fight after killing jabor and barti would win via cleverness |

He's not much better than you Akrene. If you're gonna say something, don't just Troll. You can tell him not to double post, but say something that contributes to the conversation. Your post count doesn't need boosting that badly. I can't believe that Barti has the same number of votes as Jabor. Who the hell voted for Jabor? And why are people so sure that Faquarl will win? And what the hell is Barti doing on just three votes? |

Doesn't Bartimaeus make several comments throughout the first book to the effect that Jabor would whip him? Doesn't Faquarl make some... er... similar comments? And Barti doesn't seem keen to go to head-to-head with Faquarl, either. I think, based on Faquarl's and Bartimaeus' reactions to him, Jabor would probably win. I think he'd just swallow them both whole and take a post-pradial nap. |

Personally, I think that Jabor would go all crazy with Detonations, yeah Barty might hide himself and wait for one to win, yes Faquarl would be much more powerful and actually have strategy. Faquarl has a pretty good chance to win, not so much Jabor, unless all his Detonations know out both Bartimaeus and Faquarl, and Barty would win from luck; he does most of the time. Or Bartimaeus would accidentally find a crack in the cube and free all of them. That's the only reason all three fight together in a brawl and all survive. And Bartimaeus is more powerful then you people think; battle of Al-Arish, he almost single handedly took out most of the utttuck or how ever you spell it. |
