It's fun writting sues, though. Just give them character flaws as you go and kill them off brutally in the end and no one flames you. ;)

I seriously can't believe that Harry named his kid Albus Severus you can't hate someone for half your life, then find out they loved your mother and suddenly they're your hero, someone to name your son after! <_<

So did a lot of other people. It would have made soo much sense to name him after one of the Marauders.

Anayway, forget the kid, I feel sorry for Snape.

Snape did infiltrate Voldemort's inner circle and remain loyal to Dumbledore throughout... and he killed Dumbledore on command. That can't have been easy.

That said, I do think there were plenty more people more deserving of recognition like that...

Like Sirius, for instance?

I'm a bit disappointed we didn't see the veil in this book.

But it wouldn't it seem a little anti-climatic if they went to see the place where Sirius died right after (or before) they go to Godric's Hollow?

The readers would get tired of all the "poor little orphan Harry"-ness

I thought the ending battle would be at the ministry. I was way off.

Yeah, what the hell? Wasn't that supposed to be resolved?

and it seems fitting the ending battle was at hogwarts. Circle complete, etc.

I'm disappointed we didn't find out about dudley.

did she get bored with her characters? because her after-war efforts are so half-arsed

christ. the more i think about it, the angrier i get.

Yeah, I felt like the book was rushed and she justed to finish it...

And also the veil thing should definately be resolved somehow.

Rushed? The whole thing was a triumph of plot over character.

I personally, liked it....except for the unresolved veil, Dudley, Hogwarts teachers, the person who was supposed to do magic at a later age things....and the crapilogue.

And the "romance".
