Nothing But The Rain

It's hard to close a trilogy or series with something that does justice to the whole up to that point.

Yeah, I believe so.

Look at the Twilight fans, loads of them are roaring angry over the new book.

I still haven't read Breaking Dawn.... :( ....even though I'm dying to!
I was going to order it from Amazon but because it takes a week to arrive and I'm leaving for the UK in a few days it will arrive after I've left.... ^o) ....So I'm going to have to wait to buy it in England... :-/ ....I've heard it was pretty disappointing though...

Well, I didn't mind it.

I actually liked the middle alright...it was a bit more grisly than the other books.

But it was different...had a different tone than the others. Not that that's a bad thing...but it's not wonderful or anything.

Ugh, I've heard some pretty ugly spoilers.

Yeah, those spoilers were leaked before the book came out and everyone was like this is impossible, it can't be true....yeah they were.

And it was bad.

Yeah I've heard stuff like

Spoiler: click to toggle

I usually have problems with reading spoilers but with the speed I'm going at now it'll probably be another three years before I actually read the book.

My mom's reading it. She was all traumatized earlier cuz Edward apparently gave Jake permission to bang Bella cuz he didn't want a vampire child.
:D Serves her right for fangirling the series.

Um, yes.

That was so awkward to read...

I tried to restrain myself from reading the spoilers but , as always I failed.... :P
So do you think it was generally okay but not good enough to be the last book of the series , or do you think it was a total letdown...?

I don't really like them, so I'm technically not the best person to ask.

I thought that it wrapped things up well, and I'm sure fans will really like the very beginning. There were some weird things...and things I think most people will balk at. The ending isn't exactly how I would bring a climax together, but...at least people can't be mad about who died.

It was written in a different tone from the rest of the series.

Don't take it like that.

You'll see what I mean...
