Blah, it was just minor characters, Sirius and Dumbly's death was much more sad.

And why couldn't Ginny have died?

At least it wasn't the Malfoy, they're so adorable. New Platonic Ship: OBHMF

Snape's unrequited love was pretty sad tho..

I would say Snape was a major character, at least in the sixth book.

And I am also quite sad that Ginny wasn't killed, though I guess Harry was quite happy....

Dobby and Hedwig's deaths made me cry....

I cried a little for Dobby. Hedwig's death was expected, but Dobby was so unnecessary...

Also I mourned for Draco's receding hairline.

The moment Harry was named Teddy's godfather I knew that Lupin at least was dead.

I think he and Tonks were the two JKR never meant to kill.

As for Bellatrix, I never expected Molly Weasley to kill her.

I srsy thought I was in some kind of bad fanfiction when she called her bitch. It was too overdramatic.

I thought I was in a fanfiction on Harry's birthday in Ginny's room.....

But then, I thought Neville would have fought Bella.

Well, I'm glad that didn't happen. Really, really glad.

I agree. He is one of my favorite characters of all time.

I must admit, I was suprised at the death count.

JK herself promised a bloodbath, but I didn't expect it to be quite so brutal.

I guessed that Dobby would die, and Snape and Bellatrix and Lupin, and obviously, Voldemort, but a few of the deaths took me by suprise.

Hedwig's was unexpected, as was Crabbe's. I didn't expect her to kill Madeye in such a way, I suppose I thought she would describe an intense battle scene.

I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

I'm still asking myself...why Dobby?

I didn't expect Fred to die without George. I always imagined them dying together.....

I could have imagined it, wish I could have seen George's reaction...

Of course, once George's ear got cut off, I knew he wouldn't die.
