In that case it's time to eye mum's credit card.

You can't get anything from bookstores these days. It's Amazon this, Amazon that.

Amazon is awesome. I buy pretty much everything from it. So much easier than going to a real shop which probably won't have it anyway and will charge twice as much.

Amazon is the best place to get books.

It's cheaper and has a larger selection (obviously).

Amazon kind of annoys me because I ordered from them once and it came 2 weeks late -___-

But it's really hard to get books here because I live in China and everything is Chinese. The English books we get are the really popular ones.

If that happens, you just email them about it and they'll refund your shipping costs.

Which Amazon did you order off of?

...why did you dig this up just to ask people to get back on topic? If it was an active thread fine, but it was dead...

Because I like LOTR and I wanted to chat about it. I kept checking, but nothing new ever happened and they hit a dead end. So I spiced it up a little...

Okay, maybe not spiced, but I did dig it up.
Look, Queezle.

You could have posted another on topic thread... or added something on topic to this one...

Anyways, back to LOTR. Im also a lotr freak lol. umm and anyways, if you think about it we are all related. The whole thing about the mitochondrion containing our mothers' info. yeah so lotr. well, I love the books and it is always interesting to find out where the author gets the motivation to write such a book. For the longest time I thought that it was based on WW 1 and 2. but then it ties into Christianity and I get a little confused. I think it's incredible how he thinks up of all these languages. Also, Peter Jackson's movies were SOOOO descriptive. I have this lotr weapons and warfare book, and it talks about dwarven strongholds. It shows a pic of Moria and if you are a geek like me you can literally read what is carved into the door. the movies were extremely detailed...
