I'm sorry you find it so - what was it again - oh yes, boooooooooooooring. But I suggest you stop insulting it or I may have to hurt you. :ninja2:
There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

I do not like ninjas. And I already said in a comment about how you can't burn me, or hurt me, or tell me to stop saying the Hobbit is boring. Or I'll lauch a Crusade. "God wills it." I did not read Lord of the Rings, or watched the movie. But that's because I never got the chance to. But I'd prefer to watch the movie. Now don't get off topic anymore.

I beat all the Scholastic games for Keys to the Kingdom. I thought Thursday was the easiest and Monday was the hardest. My favorite is Monday or Tuesday.

Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit were really boring in the beginning but they got better in the middle.

Yeah, slow openers, but they get a lot bettter.

I do recommend you watch the LotR films at least - they cut a lot of the boring bits, and are extremely well done.

Keys to the Kingdom seems to be an awesome series...I've only read "mister monday" so far but I'm in love xD It's very original: with the whole seven deadly sins, 7 holy traits, 7 days of the week, etc. :D Prometheus! :D
Don't yell shark in a theatre and fire at the beach! :D

Garth Nix has an amazing imagination. I read a story in Across the Wall that was a western/Hitler story. I thought it was pretty darn awesome.

I read The Lord of The Rings, but only got about halfway thorugh The Hobbit. I liked the Lord of the rings a lot better.
I've never been much into Garth Nix's work.
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

Keys to the Kingdom are a pretty good series. I've got the lot so far. Friday wasn't as good as the others, if you ask me.

Old Kingdom = Bleh
Lord of the Rings = Also Bleh
Hobbit = Meh, okay I suppose.

The Old Kingdom is pretty bad. I managed to read through the first one (with difficulty due to boringness) and got halfway through the second one before giving up.

Lord of the Rings are pretty much the same. I read the Fellowship, and got halfway in the Two Towers. I can easily say that they're the most boring books I've ever read. EVER.

Typical Lord of the Rings paragraph:

The Grass felt good between the Hobbit's toes.
Frodo thought that the grass felt good between his toes.
Frodo said to himself, 'the Grass feels good between my toes'.
Frodo broke out in Song,

'The grass feels good between my toes,
Oh, The grass feels good between my toes,
Yes, The grass feels good between my toes.'

It might be eggagerated, but bloody hell, it's the kind of thing the book does.

Thye Hobbit was alright, but it was nothing special.

I guess you have to really like a certain class of fantasy to enjoy some of the books in the genre...

The Hobbit and the Fellowship of the Ring bored me. I really enjoyed TTT, RotK and Sil though.

On topic: I stopped reading this series at Wednesday, the character of Lady Wednesday repulsed me to that extent. Monday and Tuesday were very good. Is Thursday on par with the first two?
Nothing to see here, move along.

At least. If anything, it's better.
