So who's read it?

I just went and saw the movie, which followed the book pretty closely, despite Disney's misleading previews.

Their daring, nerve and chivalry

I read the book about two years ago, I liked it.

But the movie makes Terabithia real, in the book the place is made up. So is that the only change then?

No, that's not even a change.

The CGI and such is just their imagination. They go into the wood and find the rope swing. As they keep their "minds wide open" Terabitha becomes real in the movie viewer's eyes.

In my opinion, all the important things were left in the movie that were in the book.

Ah.

Well good to have that cleared up.

And that wasn't really a spoiler, Ianna. You've kept the ending mysterious enough. But I agree, it was really sad. I loved it.

Well, you know it looks like a child's movie.

But it's not.

All the time.

It wasn't shown on screen though.

Worst part of the movie?

The ending credits.

Why?

Miley Cirus sings the ending song.

So leave the theater asap.

Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

I never liked that book. They made us read it in grade four, much too sappy for me.
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

I was never really into that type of thing. I hope the movie is good.

It is.

But like I said, the credits are awful.

How exactly are the credits awful?

So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

You missed the post about Miley Cyrus, or Hannah Montana singing, didn't you?

I did. I'm a little "off" today, ignore my stupidity.

Oh, I don't care.

Tears were running down my cheeks and I was trying to run out of the theater. It was kind of funny.

You're allowed to cry in a movie theatre, people do it all the time.

Except for me, nothing makes me cry. My parents say I have no heart. They're probably right.

Yes, I know.

I was crying in GoF and a little eight year old was like, shut up we're watching the movie.

You know, when I first saw the trailer to BTT I thought it looked stupid, but the movie is actually very good.
