Class Project. :P: Was forced to read the thing. You'know, it was a very good book... And I'm not the type to be fond of Bios. My conclusion (Told to my teacher's face): Gandhi really was a fool. Yes, a great man, and yes: amirable, but was a fool. I'm sure you read the thing, right...? *Looks around the forums* ...Gladstone? |

Lol, im an Indian and a Hindu, but I agree, Gandhi was a fool. I respect him for doing what he did, but i disagree with his method completely. FYI My grandfather's mother broke her back for the bastard. I agree with Bhagat Singh... |

Hey krazy, I too am an Indian & Hindu & oddly enough agree with u. Gandhi had some very admirable qualities but his policies will lead u nowhere these days. And like u, I too feel Bhagat Singh followed better methods. If Bhagat Singh had'nt been hanged, we would have got Independence some 10yrs earlier. How did ur grandfather's mother break her back because of Gandhiji? By participating in some hartal or something? By the way, in which city do u live in? Post, I too enjoyed the book 'My experiments with truth'. Though I must admit, it would be tough to live a life without speaking a single lie. U sometimes need to lie so as not to hurt the other person. |
