Yes, there are people out there! I wish the book had actually said something about the country on the otherside of hell |

I disagree, that would've taken some realism out of it. It's pretty incredible how believable magic is depicted in the book. I LOVE the Raven King and Stephen Black. Whoo...

I dunno, maybe a bit more in a oot note here or there, that would have proved to have been more intresting than some of the otherfoot notes..........the gentleman with thistle down hair was so awsome.........The perfect villain |

Yep! And the funny thing was I didn't really notice that he was evil up till the part where he said he liked pushing kids off cliffs. I loved the footnote about the talking statues, scaary. edit: having more John Uskglass wouldn't hurt. He was only in the book for one page! |

Grrrrrr, foot notes. Especially the story of the girl and the evil person (I would add more detail, but its been ages since I read it, and Im not brave enough to try again), that foot note went on for about 6 pages. But it was good story though, even though I cant remember what took place. As well as that the greatest part was the war with france. I laughed out loud it that part. Ahhh good times |

I liked the generous footnotes. What was so funny about the war? I laughed at the part where Stephen Black was trapped in a bog and trying in the most polite way possible to ask for help. Heh, cute. |

I imagine the necromancy being the scariest part if it was ever made into a movie...which they are, apparently. I think Adrien Brody could so fill the part of Strange. |

Exactly. They shouldn't make this into a movie, even though the I'm really tempted to say otherwise. Just think...all those wonderful characters on the big screen...nah, they shouldn't make this into a movie. By the way, you should get ladies of grace adieu, it's a new book of short stories set in the world of JS&MN. It's really quite wonderful. |
