Yes, I've had that problem too with the Keys to the Kingdom.

Though I got all the Old Kingdom books from the library so I don't know if I would have had that problem or not.

I don't.

Cause there's no Mogget in them. Mogget is the one who makes the books have a special shine to them.

I loved the Keys to the Kingdom and the Abhorsen Trilogy. But I think Lady Friday and Superior Saturday were rather boring. They didnt have the kind of grip that just makes you stick to the book. Among the Abhorsen Trilogy, I think Sabriel were better than Lirael and Abhorsen. I dunno why, but I rather hate touchstone.

I loved Lirael....then my second favorite was Sabriel and then Abhorsen....I didn't even read all of Across the wall because it was just random stories after the first one.... ^o)

I haven't read all the Keys to the Kingdom books.....I've stopped at Lady Friday.....I'm not sure if I can be bothered to read the next two.... :ermm:
