Well, good job on catching him on that one.

More on topic: I have converted another Paloni hater. A friend of mine was talking about favorite books when he mentioned Eragon. After I gave him an evil glare he asked what was wrong with it. I told him about what a rip off it was of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, as well as the bad writing, and he reread it and decided it wasn't really a good book, and was actually a total rip off. :D Now I just have to do the rest of the world...
There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

Er... well... I'm glad you have found meaning in life by making people hate books.
Have fun with that.

(just kidding, I'm pretty sure you don't hate books. If you did, it would be horrible, horrible sacrilege... and fairly strange considering you spend so much time on a book forum)
Look, Queezle.

By making people hate Paolini. There's a big difference there.

Although I dunno why she's so intent on converting people. I don't like Paolini's books, although a lot of people do, but I don't try to convince them that they're bad. It's more the other way round, honestly. But, whatever.

Incidentally, was one of your friends' fave books the Barti books?

Well, if he's read it, then probably, unless he's insane.

Like someone else...*cough, cough*

How can they not understand the soft hearted demon that is Bartimaeus?

The few of my friends who have read it love it.
There's usually very few of them, however.
Usually people can't stand to read books after I've talked at them about it for weeks.
Look, Queezle.

It made the smiley angry. That's why it turned red. Because red is the color associated with anger.
