I'll allow that for some books. But not countless.
Look, Queezle.

Fine. You shall burn.

Harry Potter displays infinitely more plot than Eragon.

Yes, well, that's one of the books that I'm allowing, isn't it?
Look, Queezle.

*sigh*

Have you noticed the parrallels with Star Wars, the flooping 'ecking Vegetarism and Atheist propaganda? The poor paragraph structures? The way Eragon dangerously leans close to Mary Sue territory?

DragonFlight, Anne McCaffrey. She wrote about 20 books about Pern and the Dragon Riders.

And?

And he's not good at everything. Sometimes he fails. And Arya hates him. As with a ton of elves. And Saphira gets annoyed with him. And so does Roran.
Look, Queezle.

He's read all the books.

And when he fails, he doesn't learn. And when he fails, he doesn't get a back slash of what he should. And his injury, the one interesting plot point, was magically taken away. Wth?

Almost.

Just let Post explain it, I miss some of the minor things he points out.

Meh, if Krim was here, Queezle, you would be begging for mercy right now.

He's not a Mary Sue, per se, He is the farmboy who has become Superman at the end of the day. It's the Grand Arena, the Chosen one vs the Evil Empire. He's the vessel through which Paolini will teach us his twisted lessons on life, Vegetarianism and Atheism most notably.

Oh please, Eragon sucks I can't think of a better word to describe it.

The characters are hollow, Paolini uses his books to force his beliefs on others, the plot is unoriginal, and most importantly of all, his style is awful! His metaphors and similies left me gagging, and he has no flow!

Why don't we all wait until Athy gets back...
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.
