Incidentally, you ever heard of a percentage that isn't out of 100?

Yes.

 Did you honestly expect him to say no?

do you think we could possibly start a seperate thread for discussion of the movie now that it's out?

i personally thought it was terrible-not enough content and no character development, it just went to fast. I liked murtagh though. and the views were great.

I was going to see the movie with a friend, but when it got 14% on Rotten Tomatoes even her delusion wasn't strong enough to make her want to go.

I liked murtagh though.

He was made out to be a total stalker in the movie, following Eragon everywhere, and he only had about 5 min of screentime. He might as well have just been cut out.

They left out so much important details, and Arya was way to emotional for her book Character. That makes me really mad when they can't follow something. It was almost a summary of what happened in the book.

I can't see how they can even make Eldest into a movie now, if they were planning on it anyways.

Uh-oh... I watched Eragon... Uhh... You're right. It sucks.
From now I don't really want the Amulet of Samarkand as a movie... :D

I haven't seen it.

Even my friend who got all offended when I called Saphira a blue chicken refuses to watch it.

Me neither and I'm not sure why. It's just an uneasy feeling in my gut about the whole thing. An Artemis Fowl movie, yes. JS&MN, sure. Barty...nope.
Nothing to see here, move along.

I think they couldn't make the movie as funny as Barti in the book.

You should've seen the review for it in the Toronto Star they were pretty harsh. Apparantly it sucks like no other movie ever has.

So I'll make myself believe it,

Most of the reviews that it got were bad.
