I didn't like the look of him at first, I think he looked to old and stuff, but I have heard he does a great job as Eragon though. |

I'm probably going to try and see it some time before it leaves theatres. Problem is I only have girly friends who don't want to see it with me. P.S Is it actually any good? Better of worse than the book? |

I didn't read the book, so I have no idea. It was good entertainment for like, 1h 40 min. I went in with low expectations though. 3/5 stars. |

The critics have given it a 14% out of 100. It was 9%, but someone was too generous.
If your definition of good acting is having one facial expression. The critics are MURDERING this, the fans hate the adaptation, and most of the people who have seen it for the first time have no clue what the hell is going on. Even Jeremy Irons said that the book was poorly written and wouldn't see the movie unless he had a younger relative. |

Me and my friend were complaining about how much was totally screwed up the entire way to my friends house. It started out ok I suppose, so I had my hopes up. But as soon as Saphira told Eragon that her name was Saphira, I was like "damn..." And it all got messed up from there. That battle scene at the end was terrible, and they left out so much stuff thats very important for the second one, if they make a second one. Which they better, cause for someone that hasn't read the books they have be wondering what on earth is going to happen to the king. So because I was so absorbed in the wrongness in the movie, I'm not entirly sure on my opinion of the movie itself..but even Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Chronicles of Narnia I knew I enjoyed despite the differences. But because I'm a geek like that, I bet I will be seeing it again with my boyfriend, lol. |

Here's hoping the majority of the population realises how awful it is, they make a sequel, and it flops. |

The special effects were all nicely done I think though. I really like saphira despite her lack of blueness. xD I think Brom was the best casted charecter going by looks alone. And that is very much not how I imagined Saphira's voice... Oh, but I will say that I loved how almost the entire movie all the guys wore leather pants But it looked like Roran was wearing blue jeans... |

Yup, what's with all the leather?
I thought Roran (that's his cousin right) looked like Steve Irwin, maybe it's just me. I was so bored by the movie that I started out picking out really unnecessary things e.g. innuendo (interesting finds there o.o) and the costumes. I liked the stuff they wore for battle, the ethnic inspiration was refreshing. |

Wow, If you never read the books, the movie would be alright, but campared to the books it was the most dissapointing movie ever, and to make it worse the book was plagiarised. |
