"Evil is just charismatic insanity"... yep, Inheritance qualifies.

Hopefully our type of insanity doesn't qualify.
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

Meh. We Barti fans are very outgoing when it comes to enforcing our beliefs...

(Otherwise known as: Inheritance sucks, Bart Good, etc.)
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

Fantasy is doomed, ya know.

Barti is very good, but not excellence.

I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,

Bartimaeus was the best.

It was orginal.

Uh... discworld?

The whole demon summoning idea isn't orginal. It was just more orginal than Potter and Paolini.

OK, a lot more orginal.

Tell you what is original - trying to summon a demon and ending up with a self proclaimed wizzard [sic].

Nothing in this genre is totally original.

Some are just more original (plot-wise, too) than others.

Death to Inheritance.

Well, you know what I meant.

It was also more dark than most stuff with boy wizards/magicians/whatever.

Yeah and demons were more loveable. Before that I couldn't think about them as cool things... :)

Making the main character power-hungry politition is pretty original. Especially if it's a fantasy novel.
