You are welcome to script a brand new code, it would be welcomed at IF. There will be a proper working system in the IF update.

which is why i put it in ' ' because I dont expect anyone to do it. It works with other IF forums...maybe it is because they are smaller though...
I love that, after years of not using this forum, my average posts per day is 0.7

The "find all posts by member" is a mod that most IF forums won't have installed.
The whole system isn't designed for that kind of searching. When we had it installed, with under a tenth of the posts we have at the moment, it took a few seconds per post. It'd only get worse as we grew.
As Gladstone said, there should be a proper instant search when they finally release Zetaboards.

I don't use Photoshop because it's too expensive. I could get a not-quite-legal version if I could be bothered, but Fireworks and GIMP do fine for me.

You've used FireWorks? Is it good,or is it just ok? GIMP is awesome though.

I like Fireworks. The interface is nice and simple, and it's powerful (although not quite as powerful as photoshop).
