Sid Meier's Civillization; Anyone like the series.

Civillization is easily the best game in the world. Hands down. For those who don't know, its a series where you build an Empire, begining in Ancient Times and ending in Modern.

You can also Mod the game a lot. I'm thinking on starting a scenario based on the Bartimaeus Trilogy. Likely mostly for the war against America, and maybe one for the conquest of Prauge.

So anyone else interested in the series? The expansion for Civ IV comes out soon. =D

Bleh. I have Civ 4, but I got bored of it after a few games. Not enough variety.

Turn based games can be fun. Heroes of Might and Magic, X-COM, Chess...

It's still a turn-based game.
