There's a vast difference between a mere handful of unformed cells, completely incapable of any form of thought, many of which would die anyway, and a developed human being. For example, an ant has vastly more capacity for thought than an embryo at the stage where they're used for ESCs, but do you think anything of stepping on an ant as you walk? |

No surgeon ever found a soul. Gene Mapping, stem cell research, they all lay the building block for the human clone. |

Isn't that like your conscience or morals? No surgeon ever found those either. It's who you are. |

Your morals, conscience are subject to change. So are laws. |

But just because they change, doesn't mean it's right. |

What is 'right' is also relative to the observer. Let's say 9\11, to Osama and thousands of his followers it was a righteous act, a strike for the opressed against the opressers, it was right. For the rest of the world it was an act of terror, it was wrong. Now, Matyrs or fanatic terrorists? |

Morals, conscience and souls are just products of your brain - of your view of yourself. |

The body is a confused shell, the soul is the true self. No surgeon ever found a soul, aye? That certainly destroys my entire argument...and I'm sure people witnessed plenty of dismembered bodies and such, but no one goes 'Well, no soul...' And the brain is an incredibly complex organ. The soul if it exists could be the thing that binds your memories together for judgment, or whatever. Human cloning? Clone one and see if it's an abomination without a soul, that runs rampant and has a bloodlust. If so, kill it, it's an empty husk. I certainly love when people say 'this is against God'...did you guys know that, according to some priests, God hates rap? What if he is in heaven leaning with it and rocking with it? Don't quote me from a Bible that has been altered a lot, though, because there is a very vast chance the Catholic Church went away saying 'this is against God' when they disagree wtih something. |

If a ghost ever haunted me, when I died, I'd haunt the ghost. :krim: Can I die? Technically, I suppose, I could. |
