I wasn't saying it was the sole source. I didn't say it because I'm el ignorant thirteen year olde. :0

Will of God...yeah. That's a reason why I skip verses when singing hymns. But considering God is based on love, I trust his intentions. His will is not to persecute homosexuals, that's for sure.

Divine intervention? Like, miracles? Because I've been thinking about those a lot lately.

God in the Classical sense, does not exist.

In the Classical sense, people were burned at the stake and killed in war because they didn't think that God existed. In the classical sense, God did very much exist, and you were beaten if you thought otherwise. In the pre-classical sense, God was running around proving that he existed.

Maaan. D: Giving people religion is like a giving a toddler a lighted match.

The Bible is one of the oldest books on the entire planet. It's been translated thousands of times. Things have been intentionally and unintentionally changed in the translations. Thought I might throw that out there to chew on.

- keeps talking to himself. - This raises the interesting question of what Kibble is talking about...the oldest book? The oldest literature is the Epic of Gilgamesh at 3000 BC, and then keeps going forward..not really one of the oldest.

And I agree, homosexuality is either not a sin or simply just as big a sin as anything else.

What would be interesting if God was like Buddhism, where if you don't reach a moral highpoint bereft of too much sin (i.e. nirvana), you ascend to heaven. If not, REINCARNATION!

Sorry for not researching. D:

That would be interesting. I don't have anything to say to that.

I see your point. But nobody's giving details on what afterlife is really like, or what is going to go on.

...Well, when it comes to telling you what the afterlife is like, I have no idea at all. But this thread was designed about evolution and creationism, looks like we wander off to one side or the other.
