Possibly. So that again leaves only one way to destroy a Golem - remove the manuscript. |

It took three pages to figure that out? |

Hey, I didn't start this. I just helped them figure that out. |

We knew that was the only way. But it had been interesting to check if the Golem could have been destroyed in another way .

Maybe you could make a mountain fall on your golem and trap it underneath...it wouldn't be dead, but it would be out of action. |

Sooner or later it would break out. In 1000 years or 10, it would find it's way out as long as it's master lives. That's the other way to get rid of the golem. Kill the master and the script dissolves. |

And we didn't get that until just now? Admittedly, I didn't remember that either. |

Hmph. I still reckon enough magical power would be able to destroy a golem. Just a whole heap of it. Like Gladstone's staff, the explosion that caused probs would have been enough. Or, jeez, a normal explosion from a bomb of some sort would destroy it. Or if its legs were cut off, it might stop working, but if not, at least it would become harmless. Or, the owner might not have to be killed. If the device the magician was using to see out of the eye was destroyed, the connection from Magician and Golem would be severed and that may cause the golem to stop working. Or perhaps the controller could stop the golem any time he wanted to. And the mountain theory is good. Eventually, the manuscript would decompose, right? There really are endless ways if people weren't so close minded. |

Here is another idea similar to my other one for getting rid of it: Lure it to the edge of a cliff over the sea so it falls in. It would probably sink to the bottom of the sea, and even if it doesn't the water will destroy the manuscript. |

Luring it might not work - the magician controlling the Golem would have to be really stupid to fall for that. |
