No.

Ain't is a slang, yes, but when it enters dictionaries, it becomes a word. Albiet a non Standard one.

If we say it commonly down here in the South, and we use our mouths, doesn't that make it a word? 'Gibblegabblefishery' is a word, as long as I say it. Or...is it? Ain't is a word.

Victory?

Difficultness is almost certainly not a word.

Generally, if it isn't in the Oxford English dictionary as a non-slang word, it's not a word. I don't think ain't is.

The argument is not 'is it a standard or non-standard word?'. It concerns if ain't is a word, and since people say it as a word instead of letters or numbers, it's a word. o-o Victory.

Okay, it's a word. It's just crude to say.

Although, the ain't ain't a word is a real phrase.

What? I can't out argue Sentynel? I'll have my day.

Ain't is a combination of letters, forimg two syllables. As in: a word. We do not need Oxford to prove that.

A word is only a proper word if it is listed in the Oxford English Dictionary, as Sentynel said.
