I think he's rather full of himself somehow. I've met a person and he and I were sort of friendly until we had a fierce argument (I wasnt fierce, he was..) about what is better: a PC or a Mac?
I stood on the mac side, happily owning one myself, and he on the PC. Stupid thing to fight over, but when I realized just how hard he pushes his ideas onto me, it made me sick. Reminds me a lot of Jacob. I know he was sort of nice while asking Kitty to leave the Empire, but...I could sense the resemblance to Maurice. Ugh. Maurice was worse than Jacob, but they seemed to have something in common. Am I right? Or is it just my pride over macs lol?

Well I didn't think too much about him, just really a suporting charactor to me. I agree that he is perhaps a bit odd. I can't remember much about him actually, perhaps that proves he wasn't intended to be that important.

As for Macs by Brother swears by them...

I was looking at the index and realized there's a special character section. :o

He's just a supporting character... and no, I haven't met a guy like him.

PS 90% of the world owns PCs...

It doesn't mean they are the best. They are just the oldest. PC are good for games, and the two are like an apple and a tomato, very different. Oh no! I don't want to argue again.... :gladstone:

Funny you should mention it. I've completely failed to meet somebody with black scorch marks crossing his face. :P

Macs... I don't like them, but I'm sure they're wonderful machines. If you can live with one mouse button (I have six and a scroll wheel), no decent games, and a very high price.

Great speed? Please. Their own processors weren't bad - but not as good as the good PC ones - but now they've started using Intel...

Security is partly because they're used so little and partly because they're based on Unix.

Jakob seemed like a push over to me. He really cared about what other people thought. That's why he stayed in his home for so long.

And Kitty probably bossed him around a lot. If he had a strong personality, she probably wouldn't hang out with him that much.

I'm impressed, Luciene. This thread was last posted in three months ago.

I don't know what Kitty sees in him...
There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

yeah, Jacob really just came across a supporting character. In my opinion, he wasn't really that interesting to read about. He just helps move the story along.
