A mad bid for Power

Now... my mad bid for Power... a sub Forum, 'scholarly discussions' for inconsistencies, additions, suggestions in the Pedia. (In the OmniPedia of course) and some discussion for history, magic and stuff...

You should also give me power to edit the topis (I can delete topic sbut not edit them?) They need a major grammar makeover. And maybe for future additions and edits... Stroud is coming, it'll help if the Pedia is in tip top shape...

Oh, now that it's been renamed (Again.) I'll pick up my ass and write the fall fof Prague...

Couldn't the inconsistancies, additions and suggestions for the OmniPedia go in the root forum? I can make you a sub forum for it if you want.

Errr, you can edit others' posts. I just checked, and you're allowed to.

Remeber, to edit posts in the pedia you must move them out of it, into the submitions section, as the rest of it is read only.

I'm going to ask the question. Why? Couldn't you just prevent replies in the Pedia subsections?

Because its a completely different forum type. Its a read only Archive forum, automatically doesn't allow anything to be done in it.

Yes, I know that, but why did you set it to that and not to a reply-prevented setting?

I have no idea, just felt like it.

Intially it was to stop people just starting random threads that are also poor ones too.

Basically so we could control what went in.

You can stop people replying and posting new threads without locking the whole thing down as read only, can't you?
