I don't know, I always thought Farquel just had plain skill, but Bartimaues had more exprience, making them quite the same in stregth.

Faquarl was stronger, I think. Bartimaeus was just funnier, hd a better personality, and yes, he did have a good amount of expierience.

I like the part with Faquarl and Barti as spiny sea thingies which puncture the gas tank on the car, when they were escaping the Tower in AoS.

Weren't their guises some type of imp? Only Farquarl punctured the gas tank, that was what made him so easy to light on fire.
