Yes, Faquarl is as clever as Barti, and stronger. Barti just happens to be rather good at escaping. |

Just finished the series. I loved Farqual, he was one of my favourite characters. I'd call him a villain, but really he was just like Bartimaeus, except perhaps more hateful to Magicians. In truth, I don't blame him for what he did. I also loved his very last line before he died, it showed that he realised Magicians and Djinn could work together. It's a shame he had to die, but at least he survived throughout most of the story. |

Yes, though I didn't like Faqural to terribly much I felt bad for him. |

Faquarl rocks, possibly the only other bad dude i liked better, through sheer strength of personality was Honorius, who was too good for words. But Faquarl is right up there. I actually liked Jabor too. Too bad he died after book1. |

I didn't think Farqual and Jabor should have died. They were to cool.

Pah. Death was a blessing to Faquarl. Had he survived, he would've had to endure the emptiness he talked about until the body died of old age, provided the bodies aged after the transformation. I.f not, he would've killed himself |

Hello! Writing you from a school computer! wow, the graphics are bad on this thing! The resolution is so screwed. Anyway, yeah, I loved them too. (No! Not like that mwamba, don't get your hopes up missy!) Well, you know me, I love anceint civilizations! Even if Faquarl made most of it up and Jabour's guise was "out of style". |

If I was a magician, I'd have summoned Barti, Faquarl and Jabor as my personal bodyguards just for fun. Listening to their exchanges would almost make the eventual drawn-out painful death you know you're going to get worth it. |

If your slaves can even get a chance to give you a long drawn out painful death, you are simply not a competent magician. |

With those 3 together? Gladstone would've suffered a long drawn out painful death. |

I think Gladstone had enough power to have control all of them. If he can handle afrits, he can handle dijinn. |

ya you do realise gladstone controlled a staff with the power of 2 marids, he had a horde of djinns and many afrits. If golems coulnt bring him down i doubt mere djinns could |
