Nouda was a higher spirit - stronger than even a marid. Ramuthra was a higher spirit too, just not quite as strong as Nouda.

You are so wrong, let me clarify things for you. The strongest demons are the one locked in the amulet and ramuthra. Simon says the amulet matches his power to ramuthra saying he is almost as powerfull as the entity in the amulet. The amulet can also sustain Nouda's power easily. and to taunt Nouda Bart invents stories containing demons stronger than him he has defeated, one is Ramuthra, therefore Ramuthra is way stronger than Nouda.

Nouda is prety much borderline, he isnt that powerfull, he is almost as weak as a marid

Well the main thing that was put across about nouda was that he was incredibly cruel towards humans.

Someone remind me, was there a spirit in Gladstones staff? Cause it would be pretty powerful

There are two spirits in Gladstone's staff, Eternity, IIRC.

The amulet was never tested against Nouda. Nate didn't have it on when he faced him.

The keyword there is 'invents'. The stories Barti comes up with are complete rubbish. Besides, he didn't defeat Ramuthra; he just got lucky and managed to steal the amulet and the summoning horn so Nate could dismiss her.
Nouda is credited with massive acts of destruction in the book - he'd need pretty incredible power to manage that.
Finally, it's difficult to compare Nouda and Ramuthra because they work in completely different ways.

Yes, Ramuthra sort of creates a giant wirlpool that is inimical to all other blace beings.
'"That's right," I said "Me. What, did you think that I'd be all nice and quiet for you? Think again, sonny. There are two of us in this body now. Check this out."
To prove my point I lifted one of his fingers and methodically picked his nose. He uttered a squawk of protest. "Stop that!"'
I lowered the arm. "That's not all I can do if I put your mind to it"'

I thinkif Nouda disrupted the elemnts too he was contsined in Makepeace's body.

I'm pretty sure the amulet would have held.

Nouda is way more powerful than a Marid, probably lesser than Ramuthra.

Doesn't help that we've only seen him imprisoned in a body, compared to Ramuthra. He uses powerful magic from inside the body, but he might be able to do stuff like Ramuthra if he was let out, or some completely different uber power.

We really should ask Jonathan this.

But from what I got, he too lazy to use his full power.

When did he leave Makepeace's body?

we dont need to, i mean it took only one magician to summon nouda and 4 to summon ramuthra u know

ramuthra and the amulet's creature are definately the 2 strongest because the amulet can absorb any magic, making it the strongest and it is mentionnes to match ramuthra so they about the same

nouda is just a powerfull but commonly summoned entity

The amulet's power is limited. Hit it with enough magic and it will give in.

The crucial difference between the summoning of Ramuthra and Nouda is that Nouda wanted to be summoned. Makepeace was arrogant enough to believe he could do it single-handed. The only reason he could is because Nouda and Faquarl, plus other djinn, had been plotting the attack for years, and Nouda knew what was coming.
