The pics look cool Luciene, though I have no idea whom u'll are talking abt.

I want her to act as Kitty.

oh hehe sorry.

i actually imagined kitty's hair to be longer than that, but now that u mention it, genevieve gaunt does kinda look like kitty (well, in my opinion anyway)

checked out a few message boards on her imdb profile. some ppl said she was born in january 1991. here's the link: IMDb - Boards - Genevieve Gaunt

If she can act. Was she anything besides Pansy Parkinson?

But she does look like Kitty. I'd like an unknown for Nat, actually.

Tim Burton?

No, no, please no. I love him, but I don't see him right for Bartimaeus.

I believe both her parents were actors/film makers or something.

Tim Burton did pretty well with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It wasn't too dark, his humour's very...offbeat?

Random will like him...he does puns...remember: "I need a hair/heir?"

Yes, I remember.

I just saw Sweeny Todd and he got the dark London right.

Also, it's the only way Johnny will do voice for us.

'Cos Tim goes for all the weird films, Johnny turned kinda mainstream on us after Pirates.

That is true.

But hey, it might mean a bigger budget as well.

I, personally, don't want Depp as Bart. It's too recognizable.

Yeah. It's good, but yes, to recognizable. Unless they have a cast of 3 voices.
Warner Bros. have good budgets.

For Bart's normal voice, when it's just him talking as himself, I want someone like way unknown, like maybe one of the people working on the film or something, just so long as it fits.

I like the dude who read the audiobooks.

And isn't the rights owned by Miramax? Who never gets things done...look at Artemis Fowl.

No, we need someone recognizable so that our fandom becomes more popular.

A lot of people will watch the movie, just because Depp is in it.

And he did a good job in his other projects, I loved The Corpse Bride.

It matters not how popular our fandom is, my dears.

I say that if the movie-makers really wanted the film to be accurate, they should hire us. :D Who would know it better than obsessive fans?

So, there are many ways to go. Good story, popular movie, or good graphics. I hope they can pull off all three and other aspects.
Yes, they should get all of us. Especially Dansariki; he knows how to talk about the Trilogy.

i wonder...if we fans ever get to be part of the movie making, then do we have to have some film making abilities? O.o
