Apparently, a company, i think its Miramax, hold the rights to a possible film!

There is a petition on the web for the making of a film, i will try to find it........

well i was thinkning that but then i thought that there is more magic used in the Bartimaeus Trilogy and that speacial effects combined with the story line would make it pretty good

It's far too easy to make crap films out of good books, unfortunately. Some work (LoTR), many don't.

This should make a great film and should never be compared to Harry Potter...I cant think of anything worse than a book based around a school with a geek as the coolest person..?.

A movie would be awesome...but only if they do it right. Sorry, but the harry potter movies...i expected a bit better for some of them. I think it was daniel radcliffe that killed me...he's not much af an actor. He's improving, but still...so, yeah, if they get the right actors and the right director and the right effects (and don't mash up the plot into itty bitty silly bits that make no sense), then cool. If not...

well i likes the Harry Potter films not so much because of the story lines but because of Emma Wotson.

He's not kidding either... he was trying to steal the Emma Watson cutout in the cinema.
